I've loved it all along, though most of the Donna season left me cold (though I did love Donna), but I really enjoyed this, too. I feel like this is going to be a creepier, more poignant, time-twisty Who, going by Moff's earlier episodes as well as this one, and I may prefer the Rusty approach, we'll see, but I really enjoyed this quite a bit.
I wonder if there's going to be a fairy tale/children's story vibe to the new series, based on this episode, which could definitely fit with creepy/poignant.
Also, I'm declaring that the preferred term for the new showrunner is SMoffat -- you read it here first!
