Rebel girl

Thanks to wembley, I got a sudden craving to hear Bikini Kill's Rebel Girl, and wondered if it had ever been vidded. Please tell me yes and point me in the right direction!


In the meantime, I found these two videos on YouTube -- the first billed as "Home Video involving 3 girls and revolutionary kisses" and the second vidding the song to what I can only describe as Maoist kitsch. Behold:

Wow, that second video really foregrounds the incoherence of the institutionalized "revolutionary" politics of communist states, doesn't it?

Funny, my first reaction was actually coming from the other direction -- that it highlighted the limits of Western-style individualized rebellion.
